Journey Through Nature

Mekedaatu: The river Kaveri flows through a deep gorge so narrow that one would think that a goat can leap across it (‘Mekedatu’ means ‘goat’s leap’ in Kannada).

Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature’s peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop away from you like the leaves of Autumn. John Muir

Stories of generations written in the sands of time.

With the arrival of my new lens 35mm Nikon, I decided to go for a morning walk. I walked through the alleyways of Narayanapura, Bangalore a village near to my old college. It was a nostalgic walk, because I am back to the same place where we friends used to walk during our college days. Today I am alone and along with my old memories.

I went to have a tea from the same old shop, couple of old people were there. I was trying to capture those old people who had some marks which time has made on their face. Seeing my continuous effort in taking their pictures this person started raising questions. All I can do was giving a sweet smile to him, which is the universal language of love. He gave me a reply in the same fashion and then what happened next is this picture. A face which tells stories, stories of generations written in the sands of time.

Schooldays, I believes the happiest in the whole span of human existence. Most of us would agree that the days spent in school are certainly the best days of our lives. Its in school that we make our first friend, have our first crush, compete to excel, hope for places in the sports teams, eating lunch boxes during classes, and learn our first lessons about life.

Photography quotes

Nothing happens when you sit at home. I always make it a point to carry a camera with me at all times…I just shoot at what interests me at that moment.

-Elliott Erwitt

When the world is your canvas, so to speak, you need your tools with you to capture everything around you. Make a habit of always carrying a camera with you—you will never suffer the regret of wishing you had.
